  1.  FileTrak Quick Notes                                                 11/01/87

  3.     FileTrak (File Track actually...) is a very simple program to use. With  a
  4.  little common sense  and toying, I  think you can  figure it out  pretty much
  5.  yourself. A tip: The default values are displayed in brackets ("[]") and  can
  6.  be used by simply pressing [ENTER].
  7.  
  8.     I wrote FileTrak on a request from a SYSOP who needed to keep track of who
  9.  downloaded what file.  It was a  fairly simple thing  to do, and  I suspected
  10.  that maybe other people  had the same problem,  so I released FileTrak  to be
  11.  available to all, based on the fact they can find out if the need it, and  if
  12.  they find a use for it, they will register with me.

  14.     This is about my  sixth or seventh SYSOP  utility I have written,  and I'm
  15.  learning  it  seems  some  SYSOPs  aren't  willing to register, regardless of
  16.  whether they use the program. This has especially hit me with the release  of
  17.  ProAna,  where  I  hear  alot  of  people  are  using  it,  but yet, less are
  18.  registering. I know times  are tough, and I  myself can sympathize with  you,
  19.  yet times  are tough  for me  too. Who  knows, maybe  some day you'll write a
  20.  program and be wanting me to pay YOU for it!
